When you use freeze dried fruit and rehydrate with wine, you get a freeze dried sangria like never before. I used chardonnay to make a light or white sangria and a red blend to make a red sangria. I always use inexpensive wine, because the fruit pulls all of the harshness out of inexpensive wines and you are left with a semi sweet, very smooth wine. You can also eat the infused fruit when you are done. Using different beers, liquors, wines etc. to rehydrate freeze dried products is an all new way to freeze dry!
