The Harvestright Freeze Dryer is great for freeze drying food, but have you ever considered using your freeze dryer for alternative uses? A freeze dryer removes water to almost 100% and can be used for document recovery, files or papers that have been water damaged, recovering photos, hard drives, saving a cell phone that has gone for a swim in the toilet or bath tub and lots of others. I will go over the other uses in the future, but today I’m going to experiment with freeze drying books, cell phone and a tablet. We are going to see if freeze drying can save you from having to buy a new cell phone or electronics or saving that family heirloom picture or letter.
